Admission to the Doctoral School of IIET PAS is conducted in two ways:
- Regular Admission
The call for applications is announced once a year, no later than April. By the end of May, proposed doctoral project topics are published, and applications from applicants are accepted in June. At the beginning of July, the list of applicants meeting the formal requirements is verified, and interviews are conducted with these candidates during July. Admission is based on the ranking list, and the number of successful applicants depends on the availability of places in a given year. Doctoral studies commence on 1 October.
- Special Admission
The call for applications may be announced at any time during the year if funds become available from awarded grant projects to support a doctoral scholarship. Admissions are carried out via a competitive process for a designated project, and doctoral studies begin at the start of either the winter or summer term.

- The Application Form;
- Documents listed in the ‘Admission Regulations’;
- Any additional documents specified in the admission announcement.
