The Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences established an independently operated, interdisciplinary Doctoral School (SD IIET PAS) on 23 April 2025. The Doctoral School commenced its activities on 1 October 2025.

Education is conducted in two academic disciplines: Biological Sciences (within the domain of Natural and Exact Sciences) and Medical Sciences (within the domain of Medical and Health Sciences).

Education at SD IIET PAS is conducted in English and lasts four years. During this period, doctoral students receive a doctoral scholarship.

Admission to the Doctoral School is announced annually by the end of April, with interviews held in July. Additional admissions may be held throughout the year if grant funding is available.
