EDUCATION PROGRAMME at the Doctoral School of the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences
The Doctoral School of the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IIET PAS) offers education in two scientific disciplines: Biological Sciences and Medical Sciences. The programme is conducted in English.
The education programme is carried out over a period of four years and consists of five modules with varying levels of requirement:
BSC (Basic) – core (mandatory) subjects – 90 hours;
SPL (Supplementary) – complementary (optional) subjects – 40 hours;
SEM (Seminars) – seminar sessions – 15 presentations;
PRC (Practical) – practical classes – 60 hours + 2 activities;
ENG (English) – English language course.
Completion of 190 hours of classes, 15 presentations, and 2 science outreach activities are required.
Classes are conducted in English; however, SEM and PRC modules may also be conducted in Polish.
One hour is defined as one lesson hour (45 minutes)
In justified cases, the Head of the School may approve the replacement of courses specified in the programme with courses taken outside the School, for example at other universities.
