An application to extend doctoral studies into the next academic year must be submitted together with the report for the current year of study. Extensions typically involve amendments to the Individual Research Plan (IRP), primarily concerning the deadline for submission of the doctoral dissertation. In such cases, the revised IRP must be submitted for approval at the next meeting of the School Council. If no amendments to the IRP are necessary, this requirement may be omitted from the application. Submission on a double-sided form is preferred.
Application for Extension of Studies
If the change to the IRP concerns ONLY the dissertation submission date, an annex to the IRP must be submitted, which does not require approval by the School Council.
